Cellular immune Therapeutics Announces Long-term disease-free survival data from phase I study in glioblastoma
The phase I clinical study was conducted on 16 patients with newly diagnosed glioblastoma, who received three injections of ICT-107 in addition to standard treatment with surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Earlier this year, the Company recorded a two-year survival rate of 80 percent in study patients, which compares favorably with the historical rate of two years the median survival of 26.5 percent with standard treatment by itself. Median progression-free study survival of 17.9 months. Eleven of 16 patients continue to survive.
