WHY ‘: The purpose of this workshop is to provide basic education and practical training on technical and theoretical pre-clinical pharmacokinetic / pharmacodynamic modeling. Concepts and principles of PK / PD modeling and simulation will be introduced, the case studies will be discussed and strategies to overcome challenges, such as grain structure, interdisciplinary communication, and decision-making infrastructure will also be discussed.WHO: The American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists is a professional, scientific society of nearly 12,000 members working in industry, academia, government and other research institutions. Founded in 1986, AAPS provides a dynamic forum for international exchange of knowledge among scientists to enhance their contribution to public health. AAPS offers timely scientific programs, ongoing education, information resources, networking opportunities and professional development.
